The Best Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

The Best Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

And they’re gluten and dairy free!

I’m pretty sure that the Reese’s company has already convinced us all on the magic of combining peanut butter and chocolate, so I probably don’t need to discuss that here. You already know all about it which is why you clicked on this post. That magic is why you need to try these cookies.

Not all recipes get Peanut Butter Cookies right. Sometimes they’re too dry and crumbly, sometimes they’re lacking in peanut butter flavor, sometimes both. This recipe by King Arthur Flour yields chocolatey, peanut buttery, chewy delights that are just the right amount of sweet. There’s no flour so they’re naturally gluten free. If you want to make sure they’re vegan, use dark chocolate chips and check that the ingredients don’t include dairy. And like the recipe says, don’t use natural peanut butter for these. You’ll end up with a dry, crumbly disappointment. I used Jif creamy peanut butter.

An added bonus is that these peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are super fast & easy to make. You probably have most if not all of these ingredients already in your pantry. I used mini semi-sweet chocolate chips because that’s what I had on hand. And, if you’re settling in to binge on Netflix and are craving something sweet, you can whip these up in under 20 minutes start to finish. Just make sure your oven is pre-heated before you bake. I did mention that these are the best, right?
